Yellow Sash I have recently graded for my yellow sash and already feel as though I have learnt a lot about kung fu. I had thought it was only kicking and punching but I now know there is a lot of traditional skills, such as breathing technique, that can enhance the skills I have learnt. Hung Leng Kuen is fantastic! I recommend everyone to try it out as you aren't expected to be brilliant, but encouraged to do your best. |

Green Sash A friend and I study Shaolin Kung Fu at another club in Covent Garden. We were both very keen to study another Kung Fu style that took place during the remaining days of the week. We found Hung Leng Kuen, London via the web. What appealed to us most was the vast scope to the syllabus which covers traditional forms and practical techniques. I find this style extremely beneficial. Not only does it enhance physical and internal health, but the school has provided me with a vocabulary of self-defence applications for every imaginable scenario. The training is disciplined and focussed, but within a friendly and sociable environment. |
